An accident happened this evening on the Dimal-Berat national axis, at the entrance to the village of Moravë, where a 27-year-old man was injured.
A Mercedes Benz type vehicle, which was traveling towards the city of Berat, went off the road and ended up in reeds on the side of the road. The impact was very strong, causing the destruction of the front part of the vehicle, while its driver miraculously escaped the impact.
The driver of the vehicle, Marjus Mata, 27 years old, suffered a broken left arm and collapsed in many parts of the body.
He was transported by ambulance to the Regional Hospital of Berat, where he is under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life. The young man was tested for alcohol and it was negative.
Many traffic police officers have arrived at the scene, who are conducting the inspection of the accident site to conclude on the causes and dynamics of the event, as this road axis is characterized by a lack of lighting.
