The police arrested the driver of the vehicle who caused the accident yesterday in the area of Fresco in Tirana. According to the police, the investigative actions showed that at the time of the accident, the vehicle was not driven by its owner, citizen FA, but by citizen SK, 19 years old, resident in Tirana.
Police notification:
Following the work to clarify the circumstances of the accident that happened around 23:30 yesterday evening, in Fresku, where as a result of the collision of a vehicle with an electric motor, an ES citizen, 18 years old (the driver of the motor) was injured electric), who then died in the hospital, the specialists of the Tirana Regional Traffic Police have carried out investigative actions to bring forward the legal responsibility of the driver of the vehicle involved in this accident.
From the investigative actions, it was found that at the time of the accident, the vehicle was not driven by its owner, citizen FA, but by citizen SK, 19 years old, resident in Tirana.
The verifications showed that the SK citizen had the relevant driving license and was not under the influence of alcohol at the time he was involved in the accident.
The vehicle and the electric motor were seized as material evidence.
At the end of the actions, the SK citizen, 19 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested in the act and the materials were handed over to the Prosecution for further actions.
