A serious accident happened this Wednesday morning on the road axis Pogradec - Qafë Thane, where one person lost his life and two others were seriously injured. The victim of this accident is citizen Martin Kastrioti, who was traveling in a "Volkswagen" vehicle at the time of the collision.
According to police information, the accident happened near the village of Pojskë, where two vehicles collided head-on. One of the vehicles made a wrong maneuver, causing the collision with the other vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. The impact was so strong that the victim's vehicle was almost completely destroyed.
In addition to the victim, two other people, the VP citizen and his wife, were injured and were sent to the hospital for medical treatment. The police have set up an investigative team and are continuing their work to fully clarify the causes of the accident. Experts believe that the speed exceeding the permitted norms, the wrong maneuver and the moisture on the road are the factors that contributed to this tragedy.
