During the first half of 2024, the death rate in road accidents is 9.8 per 100 accidents, from 17.0 in the same period a year ago.

Road accidents, in 92.9% of cases, occurred as a result of the driver's behavior.

The highest number of accidents, in this period, was committed by the age group 0-24 years and 60+ years, each accounting for 21.3% of the
total number of accidents.

In the month of June 2024, the highest number of road accidents occurred on Friday with 17.7%, while the lowest number of accidents occurred on Wednesday, with 9.2%.

May

In the month of May 2024, there were 126 road accidents, of which 167 were injured.
During the first five months of 2024, the death rate in road accidents is 10.1 per 100 accidents, from 16.9 in the same period a year ago.

Road accidents, in 86.5% of cases, occurred as a result of the driver's behavior. The highest number of accidents, in this period, was committed by the 25-34 age group, accounting for 29.4% of the
total number of accidents.

In the month of May 2024, the highest number of road accidents occurred on Thursday and Saturday with 19.8%, while the lowest number of accidents occurred on Sunday, with 7.9%.

APRIL

In the month of April 2024, 123 road accidents are counted, of which 164 are accidents (killed and injured).

During the first four months of 2024, the death rate in road accidents is 10.8 per 100 accidents, from 17.8 in the same period a year ago.

Road accidents, in 84.6% of cases, occurred as a result of the driver's behavior. The highest number of accidents, in this period, was committed by the 25-34 age group, accounting for 29.3% of the total number of accidents.

In the month of April 2024, the highest number of road accidents occurred on Monday with 23.5%, while the lowest number of accidents occurred on Saturday, with 9.8%.

March

In the month of March 2024, 107 road accidents are counted. The number of accident victims (killed and injured) is 147 people in the month of March 2024.
During the first quarter of 2024, the mortality rate in road accidents is 9 per 100 accidents, while in the same period a year ago it was 17.5 per 100 road accidents.

Road accidents, in 87.9% of cases, occurred as a result of the driver's behavior. The highest number of accidents in this period was committed by the 25-34 age group, accounting for 31.8% of the total number of accidents.

In March 2024, the highest number of road accidents occurred on Thursday and Saturday with 18.7%, while the lowest number of accidents occurred on Monday and Wednesday with 7.5%.

February

In the month of February 2024, 108 road accidents are counted. The number of accident victims (killed and injured) is 149 people in the month of February 2024.

Road accidents, in 78.7% of cases, occurred as a result of the driver's behavior. The highest number of accidents in this period was committed by the 45-59 age group, accounting for 22.2% of the total number of accidents.

In the month of February 2024, the highest number of road accidents occurred on Friday with 18.5%, while the lowest number of accidents occurred on Tuesday with 8.3%.

January

In the month of January 2024, 162 road accidents are counted.
The number of accident victims (killed and injured) is 229 people in the month of January 2024.
