A 26-year-old man from Fieri has been criminally prosecuted by the police of Vlora, after allegedly making purchases with counterfeit euro banknotes. The investigation against him, according to the police, started after the denunciation made by the administrator of a private entity in the coastal city.
In the police announcement, it is stated that the actions were carried out by the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation section, while a reference was made to the Prosecutor's Office and the criminal proceedings for the criminal offense of "Forgery of coins" against the citizen MK, 26 years old, resident of Fier. Also, his accomplice, citizen DZ, 23 years old, resident in Vlora, has been declared wanted.
The investigations against these two citizens continue, until the circumstances are clarified.
