About 40 hectares of reeds and bushes have completely burned in the lake of Prespa e Voghe. This land surface, left over from the drying up of the lake, was an important habitat for many species that lived and nested there.
"Specialists have described the burning of a significant area that covers 40 hectares of reeds in the Prespa e Vogël lake as very disturbing. With regret, the specialists explain that from the mass burning that happened just a few days ago, the living creatures left the area, probably never to return."
