Serious in Tirana A person commits suicide with a firearm inside a shooting range

A serious incident occurred today at a shooting range in Tirana, where a person died as a result of injuries sustained from a firearm.

According to preliminary sources, it is suspected that the citizen committed suicide within the premises of the polygon. The incident was recorded around noon, while police forces and the investigation team are at the scene to clarify the circumstances.

The victim's identity has not yet been released, while the body has been sent to the morgue for forensic examination.

Police are working to clarify the possible motives of the incident and to verify whether the weapon was personal or from the range.
