The Court of Tirana has confiscated 7 villas in the area of Mullet in Tirana, following the request of the Prosecutor's Office of the capital.
From the investigations of the prosecutor's office, it was found that the villas were built in violation of the law, and for this reason, he asked the Court to declare nine people guilty of the crimes, illegal construction and falsification of documents.
The investigations revealed that "in the area of Mullet, in the forest economy 1/a and 2/a, 7 objects (villas) were built, formally equipped with a reconstruction permit, but it turned out that the legal technical documentation used reflected data of false, as well as violating the forest fund, under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Tirana".
The defendants are the two architects, Armand Prelezi and Klevis Bregu, accused of "Forgery of documents".
Also the owners of the villas, Manush Teqja, Florian Zela, Abaz Teqja, Mehmet Durishti, Tefta Visha and Arblin Harizi, accused of "Illegal construction" and "Forgery of documents".
The prosecution also accuses Dorina Dushku of the criminal offense of "Illegal construction."

At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, nine persons were found guilty of the criminal offense of 'Illegal construction' and 'Forgery of documents' provided by articles 199/a and 186/3 of the Criminal Code.
In the framework of criminal proceedings no. 1285 of 2023, intensive investigations were carried out by the prosecutor's office, such as questioning of persons, inspections and seizures at institutions as well as carrying out technical expertise, and in the end it was approved that they were consumed the elements of criminal offenses provided by articles 199/a/3, 186/2, 186/3 in cooperation and 300 of the Criminal Code, since in the area of Mullet, in the forest economy 1/a and 2/a, 7 objects (villas) have been built, formally equipped with a reconstruction permit, but it turned out that the legal technical documentation used reflected false data, as well as violated the forest fund, under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Tirana.
Under these conditions, the prosecution considered that there is evidence to proceed with taking the following citizens as defendants and declaring them guilty for the criminal offenses: AP, architect, accused of the criminal offense of "Forgery of documents";
KB, architect, accused of the criminal offense "Forgery of documents";
MT, charged with the criminal offense of "Illegal construction" and "Forgery of documents";
FZ, accused of the criminal offense "Illegal construction" and "Forgery of documents";
AT, charged with the criminal offense of "Illegal construction" and "Forgery of documents";
MD, charged with the criminal offense of "Illegal construction" and "Forgery of documents";
TV, accused of the criminal offense "Illegal construction" and "Forgery of documents";
DD, charged with the criminal offense "Illegal construction"; AND
AH, accused of the criminal offense "Illegal construction" and "Forgery of documents"
At the end of the trial, the punishment of the defendants was decided and the confiscation of 7 villas built without permission in the forest economy through forged documents.
Investigations continue in the direction of the actions and inactions of public entities as well as possible collaborators, for the criminal offenses of "Forgery of documents" and "Abuse of duty" provided by articles 186/3 and 248 of the Criminal Code.
