An accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on the national road axis Berat Lushnje.
The accident near the village of Çukas happened after the citizen Veli Mara just got off the motorcycle and tried to cross the other side of the road. At that moment, a Benz vehicle with license plate AB 922 ER, driven by citizen Rudin Lila, 25 years old, hit him, although he tried to avoid it.
After an ambulance was called and went to the scene, Mara was taken to the Lushnje hospital in serious condition.
The traffic police accompanied the driver and are carrying out procedural actions to document the incident. According to preliminary data, it is suspected that one of the causes of the accident was the person who blocked the vehicle's path.
