The Tirana court accepts the extradition of Dritan Goxhaj

The Tirana court has accepted the request of the special court for the extradition of Dritan Goxhaj. Judge Alma Kolgjokaj has decided to extradite Gjoxhaj to Kosovo, who is accused of obstruction of justice.
The decision has been described as unconstitutional by the defense and that Kosovo has not brought additional evidence.
Before the hearing, some citizens protested in front of the court demanding the freedom of the former soldier.
Goxhaj was arrested on July 31 at the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office of Kosovo, which accuses him of intimidating witnesses in the process against the leaders of the KLA for war crimes, by publishing their names
The arrest of the former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Dritan Goxhajt, sparked protests in Tirana.
