The fate of the 34-year-old Lithuanian, who had come as a tourist and turned out to be lost in Valbona, remains a mystery.
On the 3rd day of the search, the operational forces could not find any trace of the tourist.
The Mountain Rescue Search Service of Albania received a call on September 7 from a hostel that one of its clients had gone to the top of Ros, Valbona, leaving all his personal belongings at the hostel as he planned to return there again but could not, the Lithuanian citizen with initials TK, born in 1990, lost contact on October 06.09.
On the first day, the air and ground control of the area around the top of Ros was carried out.
On the second day of the search and rescue operation in Valbona, the control of a wider territory was carried out for the tourist with Lithuanian citizenship who has already lost contact for more than 72 hours, an operation in which the teams of the Search and Rescue Service were involved. Mountain of Albania, the Search and Rescue Service of Kosovo, the Armed Forces, the State Police, the residents of the area, etc.
Even after the last searches, no sign of the tourist was found, the search and rescue operation was suspended until further information.
