The editors of the show "Stop" received a complaint from the residents of the social buildings in Shkozet, Durrës Municipality.

It is about 4 buildings, 5 and 6 floors, whose elevators have been out of order since 2018. Gëzim Kallbaqi also lives in one of these buildings, who is disabled and has not been able to move for 3 months, after having his leg amputated. , due to diabetes.

Gëzim Kallbaqi:  We have the problem here. I haven't gone out or done anything for two months. That couch has become a pit at all.

Reporter:  Glad I see you in the wheelchair, what are you suffering from?

Gëzim Kallbaqi:  I suffer from diabetes. I have been in Kemp for 15 years, the second group, but the diabetes got worse and went a little higher and amputated my leg.

Journalist:  Past! How long have you been in this state?

Gëzim Kallbaqi:  I have 2-3 months. I want to go visit, I can't go.

Gëzim Kallbaqi:  I can't go.

Journalist:  You have been totally stuck for 3 months?

Gëzim Kallbaqi:  I am isolated inside. They took me by the side and dropped me off to go to Tirana, the bride despite being a neighbor of mine.

Reporter:  From the 3rd floor down?

Gëzim Kallbaqi:  I went to the municipality four times to make a request, one told me "we don't know anything", the other told me "we don't know who built the palace". Please solve the problem through "Stop" so that I can go to visit.

About this problem, "Stop" asks the director of projects in the Municipality of Durrës, Lorenc Facja, who promises that in December of this year, a tender will be held for the commissioning of 4 elevators.

Lorenc Facja:  New elevators will be installed in these 4 buildings, no more repairs will be made because they are out of order and out of technical conditions, because the approval of those elevators cannot be done. Verification has been done by our specialists and they are not put to work.

Journalist:  How long does the whole procedure take?

Lorenc Facja:  The tender procedure will be done before the New Year, so the tender procedure will be closed in December and then the installation of the new elevators will be done.
