"He was a good guy, he had a construction company with his father,"

On Thursday evening, the city of Shkodra was shaken by another mafia attack. Young Kristian Kola, while standing outside a bar at the "Kinema Republika", was shot with a hail of bullets by two people on a motorbike.

The 34-year-old died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The serious incident occurred at around 10:30 p.m., when two perpetrators on a motorbike and wearing a diving suit approached Kola, who was drinking coffee outside the bar, and opened fire on him.

After shooting him several times, the two perpetrators fled the scene at "hellish" speed, while Christian's body, riddled with bullets, remained on the boulevard.

Media sources previously reported that the bullets hit the young man in the chest and unfortunately proved fatal. Also, from information provided by the Police of the northern capital, Kola does not appear to be a person with a previous criminal record.

This fact was recently confirmed by journalist Arben Çokaj, who knew the 34-year-old closely. Through a post on his social network "Facebook", Çokaj writes that Kristian was a good guy and that he did not engage in dubious work.

According to the journalist, he and his father owned a construction company and that during these days they were laying tiles around the Millennium Cinema, where the serious incident occurred.

In fact, not even a day before the assassination attempt, Çokaj had met with the 34-year-old, where the latter had expressed his desire to buy a car.

"Tonight, a motorcycle with 2 people drove by the Golden Palace Hotel, where Kristian Kola, 34, was staying outside, and they killed him on the spot, around 10:30 PM...

How cheap and worthless is life here in Shkodra and in Albania. Will you people react one day, before you disappear? How can someone kill another in vain like that?!

I've known Kristian for a long time, a very good guy, I don't know if he's been involved in any shady business, he and his father had a construction company, and these days they were laying tiles around the Millennium Cinema in Shkodra, right in front of where this terrible event happened. Yesterday at lunch Kristian told me that he was going to buy a new car and so we had a little fun.

"I hope that the murderers and those behind this macabre crime are found as soon as possible by the police! People are out of their minds, come to your senses, why are you killing like this, you bunch! Put your brains to work because there is no shame in it," he writes.

Since yesterday evening, Shkodra has been under curfew, with large police forces blocking the entrances and exits of the northern city and working to fully unravel this serious criminal event. It is learned that the area where the assassination took place is covered with security cameras, which will help the investigative group to unravel the full dynamics of the event and to track down the perpetrators, who have not been identified so far.

"Around 22:30, in the "Vasil Shanto" neighborhood, under still unclear circumstances, two unidentified citizens are suspected of having shot and killed citizen KK, 34 years old, who was outside a bar.

Police services immediately went to the scene, checkpoints were set up at the exit of the city, and checks are continuing in the area and in various environments, to catch the perpetrators.

Meanwhile, a special investigative group has been established, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to clarify the circumstances, legal documentation, as well as to identify and capture the perpetrators ," the Police announced yesterday evening.
