A woman has denounced the priest of Lushnja, Arkip Koçi, that she had an extramarital relationship with him for almost 5 years, but they have now stopped it.
The woman named Pranvera accuses the priest of having deceived her by promising that they would live together and as a result she has destroyed her family by separating from her husband and children.
"He promised me that he would live with me, he even gave me his mother's ring. "Several times we had sexual relations inside the church in the youth room and he was wearing the priest's clothes," says Pranvera.
During her denunciation, Spring was accompanied by her ex-husband, who knows Arben Koçi, or as he is known by his baptismal name, Arkip Koçi.
"I didn't understand their relationship, but I saw that Pranvera found every possible excuse to go to Lushnje", he says.
Arkip Koçi is a priest at the "Saint George and Saint Friday" Orthodox Church in Lushnje. A place which Spring mentions as being defiled by the figure of the priest, as they had sexual relations inside the church.
How did their story begin?
"I have known Arbeni since she was a young girl and we had a relationship at that time, but then our paths diverged and we built lives and families on our own. After a long time, I return to the church in Lushnje to baptize my grandson and meet him there again. Since that day we have communicated regularly and started our love story that lasted 5 years. He promised me that he would live with me, he was just waiting until he could arrange his son at school", Pranvera tells Fiks Fare.
Meanwhile, her ex-husband says that during this time she tried to organize many family lunches and dinners where the priest was present and that she often told him that she was communicating with him on the Internet, but that she was only a friend.
Although later the respective families had discovered the priest's secret relationship with Pranvera and that's where the threats started according to the informant.
"Our families found out, even his wife and children wrote me threatening messages to break up, but we didn't break up," says Pranvera.
The woman also showed the intimate photos she has with the priest from moments of intimate relationships.
For his part, Priest Koçi denied everything and said that he only has her as a friend, nothing more. Confronted with the sexual photos, the priest justified himself that they were photomontages.
"He took the photos from the masses that I perform and put them with that intimate content," says the priest. As for the messages that his family had sent to Pranvera on Facebook, threatening him to leave the priest, he did not give any response.
Pranvera claimed that she had denounced her relationship with the priest also in the Metropolis of Fieri, but that they had not received any response.
Meanwhile, Monsignor Nikola Hyka from the Metropolis of Firi said that they have suspended the priest Arkip Koçi from his job.
