A 62-year-old man was arrested for hiding 7 kilograms and 350 grams of suspected cannabis in his apartment in the village of Vinjoll. Investigations suspect that this citizen was in possession of the drug with the intention of selling it in doses.
The arrested person has a record of several criminal offenses.
The services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat, in continuation of their work to crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, based on information obtained operationally, have organized and finalized, in cooperation with the "Eagle" Special Forces, the police operation codenamed "Streha".
During the operation, the Police services conducted a search of the apartment of citizen BZ, in the village of Vinjoll, where they found and seized as material evidence 7 kilograms and 350 grams of the suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, which it is suspected that this citizen possessed with the intention of selling in doses.
At the end of the first investigative actions, citizen BZ, 62 years old, resident of the village of Vinjoll, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".
Investigations are ongoing to fully document this criminal activity.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
