Gunfight in Lezha, 32-year-old man attempts to kill young man after argument, ends up in handcuffs

A serious incident was prevented in Shenkoll, Lezha, when a 32-year-old man attempted to kill a 33-year-old man with a firearm after a conflict over weak motives. The police intervened immediately and prevented further escalation of the situation, arresting the suspected perpetrator, citizen Danjel Nikolli, 32, in flagrante delicto.
As material evidence, a firearm, a pistol and two cartridges, were seized. Investigations have shown that a physical conflict preceded the attempted murder, when the perpetrator shot twice at the victim, citizen ET.
Lezha Police have forwarded the procedural materials to the Prosecutor's Office for further legal action. This incident comes as another indication of the importance of rapid response by law enforcement agencies to ensure security and prevent violence in the community.
