The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has left in force the security measure "arrest in prison" for former judge Pajtime Fetahu. She is accused of corruption and ties to various criminal groups. Fetahu denied the accusations against her in the courtroom.
"I have no knowledge of what you are accusing me of," said the former judge, who appeared in tears.
The measure against her was executed within the "Golden Bullet 2" operation and she is accused of "corruption" and being an accomplice of criminal exponents. Along with Fetah, on July 31, the deputy director of Bradashesh prison in Elbasan, Martin Musa, was arrested. Former judge Fetahu resigned from the justice system on November 16, 2022, just a few days before she had to undergo the vetting process.
