New details are revealed from the incident that occurred today in Rinas, where Gilmando Dani was killed and his companion Muçi Shaljani (Sheqeri), an AMP agent, was seriously injured.

According to preliminary investigations, it turns out that the car they were traveling in, a white Benz, was not armored. The windows were made of plastic and were difficult to break, giving the impression that the vehicle was armored. The bullets also penetrated the body of the car, a fact that also indicates that it was a normal car.

At the wheel of the vehicle was agent Muçi Shaljani, while Gilmando Dani was a passenger returning from Barcelona to Tirana. Dani was released from prison on October 6, 2024, after serving a 12-year sentence in solitary confinement as part of Emiljano Shullazi's group.

It is learned that the two left on November 7th and had their car parked in the airport parking lot.

The perpetrators' burned car is suspected of having weapons inside, until experts and officers can be sure because there may be bullets that explode from the heat.

The injured Muçi Shaljani (Sheqeri) was urgently taken to the Trauma Hospital for treatment and is reported to be in serious condition.

He was shot in the head and remains in critical condition, as the White Shirts are making every effort to keep him alive.

According to sources, the 40-year-old underwent surgery. He also suffered several wounds to his body.

According to police sources, Shaljani was accompanying Gilmando Dani and was in the Rinas area when he was shot by unknown persons. Dani died on the spot, while Shaljani was seriously injured.

Investigations began immediately, while the main perpetrators are suspected of driving a Toyota with Greek license plates.

Shaljani was driving the vehicle, while Gilmando Dani was a passenger, when a volley of Kalashnikov fire was opened towards them at the Rinas roundabout.
