A joint investigative team (JIT), involving French and Dutch authorities, has dismantled another sophisticated encrypted messaging service, MATRIX.
The infrastructure to run MATRIX consisted of more than 40 servers in several countries with important servers located in France and Germany, according to Europol.
Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço spoke on Now with Erla Mëhilli, on Euronews Albania, about the breaking of this communication network where he stated that after the release of the data from MATRIX we will have another "earthquake" because according to him there will be shocking information. many people will talk about terrible events that happened in Albania, about how people were killed, about how people disappeared or how they were mutilated before they disappeared.
"MATRIX will reveal the most powerful connections of Albanian and international killers. I think that it is not only the Elbasan group that has used MATRIX, but there are other groups as well, such as those from the south in Fier and Vlora", said Karamuço.
