The captaincy of the port of Durrës informs that due to the meteorological situation, fishing vessels and vessels of small tonnage cannot go out for sailing from today at 07.00.
Meanwhile, the trawlers who were hunting this morning returned to the port. While the ferries have continued normally. Due to the rain, the ships that have open goods in the barns have suspended their processing.
The strength in the open sea is 5 to 6 forces, while in the interior of the Durrës bay it is 3 to 4 forces. The wind blows from the south or southeast. It's a warm breeze.
The Port Authority of Vlora has also decided to suspend navigation for small fishing vessels.

Based on the forecast for the worsening hydrometeorological situation inside and outside the bay of Vlora, during 14.12.2024 starting at 10:00 on 14.12.2024 in the direction SOUTH-SOUTH-EAST in the force up to 6-7bft with wind speed up to 15 -20m/s and wave height from 1.50 to 2.00 meters.
In order to prevent any unexpected situation due to atmospheric conditions, we ask for the cooperation of all entities that exercise activity in the maritime field, to take all the necessary measures to secure the tools in the port and increase the readiness of the crew in the tools floating.
1. It is prohibited to equip small boats and fishing vessels that operate in the open sea with a launch permit starting from 10:00 on 14.12.2024.

3. International maritime transport ships will continue to operate normally according to their respective destinations.
