An employee of the Fier Penitentiary Institution was attacked, the 38-year-old ended up in handcuffs

Fier Police, in cooperation with the Renea Special Unit, has arrested one of the suspected perpetrators of the attack on an employee of the Fier Penitentiary Institution, who was punched in the line of duty in March 2025.

The citizen identified as Eldi Nure was arrested after an operation enabled by information obtained through police channels.

The Fier Court has set the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the suspect, who is accused of "Assault in the line of duty", committed in collaboration with three other citizens.

Currently, work continues to capture other wanted citizens.

Following the checks based on information obtained through police channels, with the aim of detaining the citizens implicated in the case of 11.03.2025, when an employee of the Fier Penitentiary Institution was punched in the line of duty, the Fier Police services, in cooperation with the forces of the Renea Special Unit, arrested and detained one of the suspected perpetrators, citizen EN, 38 years old, resident of Fier.

In March 2025, the Fier Court assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Assault due to duty", committed in collaboration.

The 38-year-old is accused of having, in collaboration with citizens MP, AM, and ER, punched an employee of the Fier Penitentiary Institution, due to his duty. Work is underway to capture the wanted citizens.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, for further action.
