Today, a hearing is being held for those arrested who were placed in handcuffs in the SPAK operation. The operation from which the 7 most powerful criminal groups were hit.
Out of 50 arrest warrants in total, 14 of them were executed in our country, while another 6 were executed abroad, namely 2 in Italy, 1 in Germany, 1 in Spain and 2 in Belgium.
With the security measure, 10 arrested people will be identified today, while 30 others are still being sought, among them the former deputy of the SP, Arben Ndoka.
During the controls carried out in the villas of the crime bosses, around 3 million euros in cash as well as gold and other assets, totaling 4.5 million euros, were found.
The investigation has also evidenced the involvement of former Socialist Deputy Arben Ndoka, and four police officers, two of them in leadership roles, during 2020.
The director of the Lezhë Local Police Directorate, Henerigert Mitri, who organized gambling in this city, and with the Head of the Illegal Traffic and Narcotics Section, the same director, Klodjan Shahini, led the cultivation of cannabis.
Two RENEA operatives were also part of the criminal groups.
