The Carabinieri of Viareggio in Italy have arrested a 35-year-old man of Albanian origin, a resident of the city, on charges of violence and violation of the protection order issued for his ex-wife.
The Albanian, whose identity is not disclosed, despite the measure, continued to threaten and harass the woman with phone calls, messages, and even went to her workplace.
In one of the recent incidents, the 35-year-old burned his ex-partner's hand with a cigarette, which forced the woman to notify the police to take action against him.
