The investigators in Durrës are sifting through all the elements of the murder by Pëllumb Meta's children in Shënavlash, to discover the motives of the murder.
News24 learned from confidential sources that one strong track is that of property conflicts over the land, where the key figure is Pellumbi's eldest son, Hyseni.
The pigeon had about 12 dynams of land. During the checks in the apartment, the police did not find these documents, which were held by the eldest son, who had promised his sister that he would get him out of prison with the land money.

Pëllumb Meta, originally from the village of Shemëri i Kruja, was born in Shënavlash of Durrës on June 8, 1974, where his parents Hamid and Fatima had moved from Kruja a long time ago.
Between the life of emigration and Albania, Pëllumbi, after the death of his mother, decided to finally return to Albania, where he became the father of 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys. Pëllumbi's family members claim that since their mother's death, they have not had any communication with his wife, Blerina, who had also distanced the children from Pëllumbi's family members, with whom they had not spoken for years.
Beyond this fact, Pëllumbi began to devote himself to his family in his hometown after returning from Italy. He started working as a guard in Shënavlash at the car market, a job he did until the last day of his life for about 23 years, until February 10, 2024.
February 10, 2024 was also the end of Pëllumb Meta's life, which was executed by his family members. A serious crime which shocked public opinion even more as 4 family members, 3 children and the mother joined together to eliminate the head of their family and buried him in the cattle shed.
According to the investigators, the whole plan of this horror crime was pre-planned down to the last detail. But how was the truth discovered and how did the police begin investigations until this monstrous crime was revealed?
The head of the section for the investigation of crimes against the person at the Durrës Police, Ruzhdi Domi, who investigated the case from the time the report arrived at the police until the incident was revealed, explains how the police found the truth.
According to the investigative team, the children had carried out the entire plan to hide the crime in detail, from the removal of the deceased's car, the burial and the hiding of the weapon, which, according to the police, was allegedly owned by the victim's son, Hyseni. What impressed the police the most in this crime was the calmness of the children and Pëllumbi's wife after the incident.

Grupi hetimor po heton për motivin e ngjarjes, edhe pse shprehen të rezervuar për shkak të sekretit hetimor. Pista e fejesës së Hygertës se Pëllumbi donte ta fejonte pa dëshirë dhe dhuna në familje apo incesti janë përjashtuar nga hetuesit. Hygerta iu nënshtrua edhe analizave gjinekologjike, ku vërtetua që nuk kemi të bëjmë me abuzim seksual.

News24 shkoi te pronat e Pëllumb Metës, i cili tokat i kishte në dy parcela, një para banesës, ndërsa tjetrën rreth 2 km larg në një zonë industriale, tokë e cila ishte nxjerrë edhe në shitje. Metri i tokës sipas vëllait të të ndjerit kushton deri në 50 euro, ku në total tokat e Pëllumbit vlenin deri në 500 mijë euro.
Sakaq, një mbishkrim i çuditshëm është vënë re nga hetuesit edhe në murin e kasolles ku fëmijët varrosën të atin. Në mur shkruhet “Eni milioneri, 1 milionë dollar”. Djalin e madh të Pëllumbit Hysenin e thërrisnin shkurt Eni.
Në dëshmitë e tyre fëmijët deklarojnë se konfliktet familjare kanë qenë të vazhdueshme në familje me babanë, konflikti i fundit ishte i Hysenit me të ndjerin, ku Hyseni i kërkonte të atit që t’i blinte një makinë, edhe pse ishte i papunë dhe sapo ishte kthyer nga Italia.

In England, it is not known what work Hyseni did, but then he went to Italy, where he did not work there either, and then he returned to Albania. 12 days after the return, the crime happened, where the children killed their father. The investigators have seized all the mobile phones of the deceased's children and there are suspicions that the crime was planned by the children, namely Hygerta and Hyseni, and the latter returned to Albania to carry out the plan.
But why did the children have so much hatred towards their father along with their mother and joined in this crime? Confidential sources told News24 that the investigators are also investigating a suspected extramarital affair of the victim for years, where it is suspected that Pëllumbi's wife and children were aware and this cause may have led to ongoing family conflicts and that it was the wife who may have raised the children with such a hatred of their father that they all conspired to kill him.
Reliable sources told News24 that there is evidence where Hyseni tells his sister to take over the crime because the latter will sell the land and get him out of prison. Likewise, older sister Bedra, who was engaged and was allowed by her uncle to attend her father's funeral, left her husband and went to her mother Blerina, who is staying with her parents.
During the making of this documentary, we also contacted Blerina's father, Mr. Baftjar Togu, to get Blerina's and the older daughter's version of the event, but Blerina's father said that his daughter no longer wants to speak to the media. Pigeon's brother, shocked by the event, wants to know the true cause of the event and appeals to justice to see the case through to the end.
