They kidnapped and raped a 27-year-old man for 5 thousand euros! 3 people arrested, 3 others wanted

The Tirana Local Police Directorate announces that the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector, in cooperation with the Special Operations Force Sector, has finalized the operation codenamed "Restriction", following a case of kidnapping and violence against a 27-year-old man.

According to the police, the victim was held and raped for several hours in an apartment, with the aim of getting her to give 5,000 euros. As a result of the investigation, five suspects have been identified. Two of them, LK, 24 years old, and AN, 24 years old, have been arrested, while the other three, KN, 23 years old, MM, 21 years old, and SC, 25 years old, are wanted.

During the operation, the father of one of the arrested, citizen AK, 60 years old, was also arrested, in whose apartment a firearm, a pistol with combat ammunition, was found. In addition to the weapon, 5,000 euros, 6 mobile phones and 1 vehicle were seized.

Police announce that investigations conducted using proactive methods show that the five individuals collaborated to take the victim's money, threatening and physically assaulting him.

"The procedural materials will be passed on to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the Tirana DVP statement said.
