Sazani under Kushner's management, Hila: It's banal to say that the US president is being bought with an island

Analyst Dritan Hila, invited to the show "Open," commented on the reported investment of the company of Jared Kushner, son-in-law of the new US President Donald Trump, in the island of Sazan. Hila described as "banal" the idea that an island could serve to "buy" the influence of a US president.
“It is absurd to say that the US president is buying Sazan,” Hila declared. He considers the investment a strategic and long-term step, which goes beyond mere economic benefits. According to him, the involvement of an American company shows confidence in the potential of the area and represents a boost for national security and economic development.
Hila has dismissed claims suggesting that the Albanian government has “sold” Sazan. He stressed that granting concessions or private investments does not constitute a sale of territory.
“To say that Rama sold Sazan seems to me to be pure speculation. Neither Sazan nor Zvërnec has been sold. Just as one does not sell a place when one buys an apartment or land. This is propaganda that I hope will pass and not annoy this investor,” Hila said.
According to the analyst, an American investment in Sazan could bring significant benefits to Albania, not only in economic terms, but also in increasing regional security.
