Albanians in revolt, tenth protest begins in Tirana

The tenth citizen protest has begun today. Citizens initially positioned themselves in front of Skanderbeg Square and then continued towards Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, with the final destination being the Prime Minister's Office.
Yesterday's civic protest marked a record turnout since its launch. Thousands of citizens first gathered at Skanderbeg Square and then marched towards the Prime Minister's Office building, where the boulevard was filled with banners, flags and slogans against the government and the political class as a whole.
The atmosphere in front of the Prime Minister's Office was characterized by strong slogans such as "Rama resigns", "Don't be divided! Down with the patronageists", "Rama goes", as well as calls demanding the departure of the political elite that has dominated Albanian public life for decades.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Edi Rama and representatives of the majority have continued to minimize the protest, linking it to disinformation, political interests, or external influences.
In recent statements, Rama has mocked the protesters and attacked public figures who have expressed support for the civic revolt.
What began in Zvërnec as an opposition to a certain project is now taking on broader dimensions, transforming into an expression of dissatisfaction with the entire political class.
