Live mockery of Burrel's African footballer, the club reacts harshly!

A shameful episode was broadcast yesterday evening on the sports show "Super Gol" on Albanian public television, where host Hygerta Sako and her guests mocked Burreli's African footballer, Arnold Kwaku Siaw, during a live broadcast after the Burreli–Pogradeci match (2-0).

During the live interview, due to a technical problem with the image, the player's portrait was not clearly visible on the screen. Instead of the situation being managed professionally, it became an object of ridicule: the host and panelists Ardi Behari, Gert Haxhiu and Klajdi Kola laughed, while Haxhiu took it further with a comment with racist undertones:

"Thank you to RTSH for revealing it to us at the last moment, because it seemed like the stories of those people who don't want to talk."

Sako tried to avoid embarrassment by blaming the "RTSH LED" for the poor image quality, but the moment had already gone viral on social media.

Burrel's club reacted sharply to the incident, describing the behavior in the studio as "a shameful act of bullying with racist overtones."

In the official response shared on Instagram, the club emphasizes:

"Such language, regardless of whether it is disguised as a 'joke', has no place in either sport or our society."

The club came to the player's defense, calling Siaw "part of the Burrel family" and a player who has earned the respect of fans for his dedication and professionalism.

Burrel's coach, Samuel Nikaj, also reacted with a strong message:

"Some lose everything to maintain their dignity. Others gain everything, but sell their souls for a seat at the table."

The club demands that RTSH and the show's hosts take responsibility for the event and publicly apologize to the player and Burrel's team.
