34-year-old Edison Muceku, who was arrested today in Manchester, was declared internationally wanted by the Albanian authorities, for a series of criminal offenses.
Muceku's name appears in the list of 50 people against whom SPAK issued arrest warrants, as part of the "Metamorfoza 3" operation.
The mega-operation led by SPAK and agreed with Europol in May of last year lasted for about 20 hours, where approximately 30 BKH investigators, RENEA forces, the State Police, as well as Europol, which assigned an officer to SPAK, were engaged to support this operation. Investigative actions were carried out in the cities of Tirana, Durres, Vlora, Shkodra, Lezha, Rreshen, Kurbin, Fushë-Kruja and Kruja.
Muceku, also known as Hektor Xheçukë's soldier, whose criminal group was involved in the elimination of Hamza Terziu, was declared internationally wanted by Albanian authorities.
He is accused as a co-perpetrator in the attempted murder that took place in Bulqiza on May 21, 2020, against Hamza Tërzi.
For this event revealed after the analysis of the conversations in the Sky ECC application, the Special Court issued several arrest warrants for the citizens: Hektor Xhecuka, Albert Zaja, Edison Muceku, Tori Xhečuka, Florenc Kelmendi and Ardit Gjokrosa.
