A gang of Albanians was destroyed today by the Italian police, after committing thefts in apartments with high monetary values. 4 people were put in handcuffs, as the author of more than 20 thefts that were committed from December 2021 to January 2022.
Foreign media reports that the Albanians were all resident in Pavia, while the thefts were committed in the areas of Pavia, Alessandria, Savona and Lodi. They stole a large amount of goods consisting of valuables, worth several thousand euros.
Another member of the gang was previously arrested in March 2022, with the help of the border police, alerted by the investigation unit of Pavia, as he was trying to return clandestinely to Albania in a truck at the port of Ancona.
Already the judge of the preliminary investigations of the court of Pavia has issued the measure of detention in prison against the other members of the gang, making them responsible for about 20 residential burglaries. Order which was implemented in the early hours of this Friday morning.
