A complex intervention of a 29-year-old patient was successfully performed at QSUT.
The good news was given by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who through a post on his social networks wrote that the young woman had severe mobility and sensitivity problems.
The head of our country thanks the doctors of QSUT, as well as one of the neurosurgeons, who after his career in Spain has returned to Albania to give his contribution.

A very complex intervention was successfully performed at QSUT on a 29-year-old patient with a rare congenital malformation (lumbar meningocele), who suffered due to severe mobility and sensitivity problems
Thanks to the contribution of the neurosurgeon, Prof. Kita Sallabanda, who after an excellent career in Spain has started to contribute to the homeland at QSUT, in cooperation with the talented doctors of our central hospital complex, neurosurgeon Prof. Artur Jumarin and plastic-reconstructive surgeon Prof. Nardi Kolën, the highly difficult operation was successfully completed, giving the 29-year-old the long-awaited chance for a better life.
