Former model Sabrina Krasniqi shot her husband to death and then herself, as she feared that he would divorce her due to infidelity. This is what the victim's brother Arben "Benny" Krasniqi claims. In a statement he gave to " The Post ", he said that Sabrina Krasniqi had shown signs of being aggressive.
"We saw a lot of signs, and now everything makes sense. But they were in love and never in a million years did we think something like this could happen. There was infidelity in the marriage on her part. She was filled with guilt, it was something she could no longer handle emotionally. My brother wanted a divorce and she did not take the news well. That's how he decided to kill my brother and himself, " said the brother of the deceased Pajtim Krasniqi.
Neighbors told police after the murder-suicide that earlier they had heard violent fights between them that had lasted for weeks. Sometimes they even argued on the balcony.
The victim's sister, Albana Krasniki Munrett, said: Our mother is devastated. He called her every day. He treated her very well. He had a unique gift for finding joy in even the simplest things in life.
About five years ago, Pajtimi was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident. But thanks to his strength, he refused the doctors' request to amputate his leg and instead of this solution, he performed 16 operations and followed a torturous rehabilitation process.
"He trained, worked hard and came home with both legs. As soon as he got home – I'll never forget it – he flushed all the pain meds down the toilet. I wish I had the mental strength he had. He always said I was his hero. I never told him he was my hero. Now he's gone. A terrible person took him away from me," said Benny.
The serious event happened on November 29, when the 27-year-old Albanian woman, identified as Sabrina Kraniqi, shot and killed her husband, Pajtim Krasniqi, 34 years old. The news shocked the Albanian community in Florida.
