The 'Budget' plunges South Korea into chaos, Helicopters land on the roof of the Parliament
Today, the capital of South Korea is engulfed by numerous riots.
Scores of protesters gathered outside the country's Parliament, prompting President Yoon Suk Yeol to declare martial law.
According to foreign media, in addition to the large presence of the police outside the Parliament, helicopters have also been noticed circling over the legislative building.
Several helicopters have landed on the roof of the parliament, AFP news agency reports.
Tensions in South Korea have started after clashes in Parliament over the 2025 Budget bill.
Also, in the same week, the opposition worked to blame cabinet members, primarily the head of the government's audit agency, for failing to investigate the First Lady.
In turn, the country's President said he was declaring Martial Law to protect South Korea from communist forces linked to North Korea.
