Israeli terrorist attacks in Lebanon, three dead and dozens injured

Three people were killed and many others wounded in Israeli strikes in Lebanon today, the country's Health Ministry announced, while the Israeli army, which is intensifying its attacks against Hezbollah, confirmed that it had killed three people, whom it described as "terrorists".

Lebanese news agency ANI initially reported that a hostile drone targeted two brothers from Shebaa, near the border with Syria, who were "driving on a road on the western slope of Mount Hermon. The attack caused their car to burst into flames and they were killed."

The Israeli military said in its statement that it had killed two members of the "terrorist organization Lebanese Resistance Brigades operating under the orders of the terrorist organization Hezbollah." The victims were smuggling weapons used by Hezbollah and "their activity was a flagrant violation of the agreements between Israel and Lebanon," it said.

Lebanon's Health Ministry confirmed the attack in Shebaa and reported another attack, in the village of Baraasit. The Israeli attack on a vehicle killed one person and wounded four others. The Israeli military insisted that in this case too it targeted "a terrorist involved in efforts to restore Hezbollah's military infrastructure."

A third attack in the morning, on a car near a hospital in the city of Bid Jbeil, wounded seven people, according to Beirut.

Israel has intensified its attacks on the neighboring country in recent days , claiming it wants to prevent the regrouping of the Shiite, pro-Iranian organization.
