Israeli forces attack building in Gaza, several civilians injured

The Israel Defense Forces attacked a high-rise civilian building in Gaza City, which Hamas had converted into a terrorist facility used to carry out attacks against Israeli troops in the area.
The IDF reported this in a statement on Telegram, stating that Hamas created an underground tunnel inside the building, which the terrorists used as a base for ambushes against Israeli troops and as an escape route.
"Precautionary measures were taken before the attack to mitigate harm to civilians, including early warnings to the population, the use of precision munitions, aerial surveillance and additional intelligence gathering," the statement concluded.

The 12-story building called "Mushtaha Tower" that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) hit is one of the tallest in Gaza City.
According to Al Jazeera, the attack caused extensive damage, while several injured civilians were taken to al-Shifa hospital for medical treatment.
