Strong earthquake hits El Salvador, this is the magnitude

A series of earthquakes hit the Central American country of El Salvador.

One of which was recorded with a magnitude of 5.6 on the Richter scale, in the south of the country, about nine kilometers southwest of La Union, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) announced.

The authorities of El Salvador announced that they activated emergency protocols due to the earthquake, which was also felt in Tegucigalpa, the capital of neighboring Honduras, as well as in the eastern part of Nicaragua, reports Reuters.
