Mid-air incident for US Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth's plane diverts

An unusual incident occurred during the flight of US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, who was returning from Brussels to the United States on a government plane.

About an hour after takeoff, the pilot signaled a technical problem and decided to divert the flight, returning to the UK.

The plane immediately descended to an altitude of 10,000 feet (about 3 kilometers), an action that according to air safety protocols indicates a problem with the pressure in the passenger cabin.

According to initial sources, one of the plane's windows had suffered a crack, forcing an emergency landing.

The plane eventually landed at Mildenhall Air Base, north of London, where authorities took appropriate measures to ensure the safety of passengers and launched technical investigations.

There are no reports of injuries, and Minister Hegseth is in good health.
