Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya declares end to war in Gaza: Permanent ceasefire in effect from today, here is the guarantee the US gave us

The head of the Hamas organization acknowledged the agreement reached and the end of the war in Gaza.
Khalil al-Hayya, who escaped a bombing in Qatar weeks ago, declared an end to the war and a permanent ceasefire today. He also said the Rafah crossing into Egypt would be open in both directions.
The agreement also calls for the release by Israel of all Palestinian women and children in prison. He said Hamas had received assurances from the United States, Arab mediators and Turkey that the war in Gaza was finally over.
Another senior Hamas official, Osama Hamdan, said tonight in Egypt that "no Palestinian accepts disarmament" and that Palestinians "need weapons and resistance."
