Gaza war, IDF: 42 Israeli hostages are killed by Hamas

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announces that 42 Israeli hostages taken by Hamas have died.
In an update on June 8, the Israeli prime minister's office said at least 41 hostages from the October 7 attack were believed to be dead, with their bodies being held in the Gaza Strip.
The Forum of Hostages and Disappeared Families mourned Alatrash in a statement and said it will stand by his family until his remains are returned to Israel.
