Bad weather hits Italy, massive landslides hit the country! Two reported missing

The bad weather that hit Italy caused a landslide that swept away a house in Brazzano di Cormons, in the province of Gorizia, during the night of Sunday.
According to Corriere , one person was pulled alive from the rubble and searches are still underway for two missing people: a 32-year-old German man and an 83-year-old woman, whom the German may have been trying to save.
A massive mudslide swept away an old three-story house and the apartment next door. The land was torn off the hillside behind the church, which was not affected by the collapse. The house swallowed by the rubble is the home of a 35-year-old man, originally from Germany, who recently emigrated to the village in Friuli Venezia Giulia, where he runs a delicatessen. Two elderly people live in the house next door, one of whom was rescued by rescuers. The mud has covered the entire area.
Firefighters responded to the call for help, supported by Civil Protection volunteers and paramedics sent from the Sores Fvg operations center with multiple ambulances, an ambulance and a helicopter rescue team. The injured person, who broke his leg, was transferred to the hospital in Udine.
The situation is difficult throughout the Cormons area.
"I have ordered the closure of schools for today ," Mayor Roberto Falcaro wrote on social media.
"Considering the traffic conditions and the risk, we are all working to address the situation as best we can ," he added.
"Last night's rains have caused serious damage and problems throughout our area. There is a massive presence of police, firefighters and civil protection personnel working tirelessly. Please be very careful when driving as some roads are still flooded and others are full of debris ," the mayor concluded.
This morning, firefighters responded with boats and a helicopter from the Venice Fire Brigade to the village of Versa, a hamlet of Romans d'Isonzo in the province of Gorizia. After the overflow of the stream
Firefighters have carried out dozens of operations so far to help stranded drivers, people trapped in their homes by floodwaters and landslides. Specialized flood relief teams and units equipped with high-capacity pumping stations have arrived from Veneto and Emilia Romagna.
