The latest polls show that the presidential race in the US remains close, even though Kamala Harris has a small lead over the former president.
The national average of polls from the New York Times this morning has Harris with 49% support for Harris and 47% for Donald Trump.
Harris is seen as the favorite, albeit by small margins, even in key states such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada, although the gap in four quarters has narrowed, while Trump leads in North Carolina, Georgia and Arizona.
