Colombian President Accuses US of Attacks in Caribbean: Ships Carrying Colombian Citizens Hit

Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced today that the last ship bombed by US forces in the Caribbean was Colombian and its passengers were Colombian citizens.
"A new war scenario is emerging: the Caribbean. The attack is being carried out against all of Latin America and the Caribbean ," he wrote in a post on the X platform.
Petro, who is in Belgium for talks with European leaders, was responding to a post by US Senator Adam Schiff, who said he and Tim Kaine would vote to block attacks on ships in the Caribbean.
At least four ships have been hit in recent weeks, killing 21 people. The US says the ships were carrying quantities of drugs.
