In the first interview before the start of the election campaign, given yesterday evening to TV Pink, President Aleksandar Vucic revealed his idea for a deep tax reform in Serbia.
Prompted by direct questions from the citizens, Vučić revealed the path that Serbia will take, saying that he did not enter the campaign "to say that honey and milk will flow, but that the country will have a difficult period and with a lot of work to see the light at the end of the tunnel".
Vucic then addressed the people's messages in his direction, saying that they are asking him to cut off the electricity to the Albanians in Preševo, as it happens to every Serbian taxpayer. The leader of Belgrade was that everyone will repay the obligations as soon as he is reconfirmed at the head of the state.
"We have prepared a major reform of the Serbian tax system. Even the people say... why are you cutting off our energy, what is this or that? Why aren't you cutting off the power to the Albanians in Presheva? And I tell them if we win the elections everyone in Serbia will pay the energy and the taxes, so will the Albanians in Preševo, so whoever goes there to do it. Not only them, but everyone in Serbia will have to do this, pay the obligations", declared Vucic.
