Explosions in industrial area in Argentina, 20 injured

A series of explosions have hit an industrial area in Ezeiza, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, causing a fire that has spread to several buildings, according to local officials.

"The explosions and the fire that is spreading in several buildings are terrible," Ezeiza mayor Gaston Granados told C5N television.

More than 20 people were injured, the local television network reported.

Footage from the Spegazzini industrial park shows the extent of the destruction in the area, with large fire brigades and ambulances rushing to the scene.

The cause of the explosion remains unclear.
