A scandal involving Serbia has been recorded on the national television HRT in Croatia, as the military analyst Mario Galic has publicly called for the assassination of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in a live broadcast.
Galič was invited among the panelists in the "Poligraf" program of the Croatian Radio Television together with the MEP from the HDZ party, Davor Ivo Štir, Gordan Bosanac from the "Ne mundemi" party and Krešo Beljak from the HSS.
Galic was commenting on the EU's progress report for Serbia, when he started talking about the downing of the Serbian presidential plane, while surprisingly the Croatian MEPs in the studio started laughing.
" Croatia will not receive cruise and long-range missiles from the US, because they can target and hit the presidential plane over Belgrade and thus solve the problem ," Galic said.
With irony, the deputy of the HSS, Krešo Beljak added: "Right in the center of the Serbian world" .
Until now, no one from HRT has apologized for this statement by Galic, but in Serbia it is widely commented on and has been the focus of criticism.
