Spain promises guarantees for Ukraine's security. but after peace is achieved

Spain will be part of the solution to the Ukrainian issue, as it has been since the beginning of the operation of the coalition of the willing, but will contribute to security guarantees for Ukraine when peace is achieved in the country.

This according to Spanish government sources, quoted by Europa Press, following the announcement by French President Emmanuel Macron that 26 coalition countries have committed to sending troops to Ukraine as security forces, starting the day after the signing of the peace agreement, to prevent new Russian aggression.

"Madrid intends to continue supporting Ukraine as long as it needs it and will contribute to its security guarantees once peace is achieved," according to the sources, without clarifying, however, whether Spain's participation will include a deployment of forces on the ground.
