A video dating back to 2016 showing popular rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs raping, pushing, dragging and kicking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura has surfaced. The video released by CNN is of the couple's fight at the time and matches the allegations in the lawsuit filed by Ventura in November.
The footage is dated March 5, 2016, and according to Ventura's complaint, was taken at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles. In the video, Ventura exits a hotel room and walks toward the elevator. Combs, holding a towel around his waist, runs down the hall behind Ventura. He grabs her by the neck and throws her to the floor. Still holding the towel in one hand, he turns to kick him.
With Ventura on the ground, Combs picks up the briefcase from the floor before immediately turning around and kicking Ventura again as she remains motionless on the floor. He then drags Ventura in her sweatshirt to a room.
Seconds later, he sits down in a chair, grabs an object from the table and throws it at Ventura. Combs is seen walking away and then back to Ventura once more as the elevator door opens and someone appears to exit. Ventura, who reached an undisclosed settlement with Combs, declined to comment on the video posted by CNN. Ventura's attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, said: “The shocking video further confirmed Combs' disturbing behavior. "Words cannot express the courage the lady showed to reveal this." Remember that the rapper faces serious charges of sex trafficking, sexual assault, including rape and domestic violence.
