What is IDU?
The Annual Forum of the International Democracy Union (IDU) was held these days in Washington DC. This forum is a global platform that unites 80 parties, right and center-right, from 60 countries of the world. It includes some of the most popular parties such as; The American Republican Party, the British Conservatives and the CDU German Christian Democrats. Many of its members come from democracies created after the 1990s such as; the right-wing parties of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, Ghana, Guatemala, Nepal, Maldives, Tanzania or Sri Lanka.
DP and representation in IDU
Undoubtedly, the Democratic Party of Albania is part of this forum and every year it has participated through its representatives. This year, more than ever, the Democratic Party was represented divided not only in representation but also in the level of meetings and in the agenda that the parties had.
The group headed by Fatmir Mediu and who pumped Belind Kelliçi more in the media, at least as far as they have made public, does not appear to have met with any of the staff chosen by President Trump who is expected to take office in January of the following year . The Chairman of the Republican Party himself, Fatmir Mediu, through a post on social networks, says that he has talked with the Chairman of the IDU, the former Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper, the Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morison, the former British Prime Minister Liz Trust, the new Leader of British Conservatives We have Badenoch, Lord Michael Ashcroft, former Austrian chancellor Sebastian Kurz.
The result is different with Lulzim Basha's group, which has been officially received by congressman Darrell Issa, who is the main candidate for Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US Congress, and by congressman French Hill, who is the candidate to head the Finance Committee. In addition to these, in his Facebook profile Lulzim Basha states that: "During this forum, I held special conversations and meetings with various leaders, including the head of the PPE parliamentary group and the president of this group, the new president of British conservatives, Kemi Badenoch, congressmen, MEPs and heads of various international institutions and organizations."
The difference in meetings is clearly visible, which also reflects the weight in lobbying. This gives a clearer picture of the profile of the politician and the capacities in human resources that the Democratic Party has.

Gjithashtu, në fokus ka qenë edhe siguria rajonale e sidomos ajo e shtetit të Kosovës, ndryshe nga dashnorët e pavarësisë dhe integritetit territorial të Kosovës që rrahin gjoksin nëpër studio televizive dhe gjejnë shkakun e non gratës.
Rezoluta
U trumbetua shumë në mediat pranë Rithemelimit rezoluta e nënshkruar nga anëtarët e IDU-së. Triumfi i sjellë nga Washingtoni u lexua revokim i masës së non gratës. Delir absolut!
Si duhet lexuar rezoluta?
Rezoluta në thelb nuk është asgjë më shumë se një dakortësim i shprehur në formën e vullnetit të përbashkët i anëtarëve të një forumi/organizate për çështje të caktuara të ngritura nga anëtarë që kanë interes ngritjen e kauzave në nivel mbikombëtar. Por, që rezolutat të sjellin efekte, minimalisht politike, por dhe juridike, duhet të kthehen në vullnet institucional. Që do të thotë, firma e një kongresmeni republikan merr vlerë kur nesër administrata Trump të shprehet me akte konkrete mbi çështjet e ngritura në rezolutë. Apo, që Kemi Badenoch, kreu i ri i konervatorëve britanik, të ngrejë në parlamentin anglez çështjen e non gratës apo të qeverisë teknike para zgjedhjeve.
Kështu që, për sa kohë nuk reflektohet në akt institucional, rezoluta nuk ka asnjë vlerë në raport me qeverinë e Ramës që ti imponohet të bëjë apo të mosbëjë ndonjë veprim të caktuar. E në mungesë të kësaj, do të mbetet thjeshtë dhe vetëm një produkt lobimi e qokash mes miqsh forumesh.
Kjo sa i përket rezolutës në parim. Nëse do të lexojmë përmbajtjen, vëmë re se në asnjë rresht të saj nuk përmendet kundërshtimi i procedimit penal të Berishës. Dhe kur flasim për rezolutën, duhet të kemi parasysh pjesën e dytë dhe jo hyrjen. Kjo sepse pjesa hyrëse flet për motivet e rezolutës dhe përfundimi është produkti final për të cilën palët kanë dakortësuar.
Gjithashtu, në asnjë rresht të rezolutës nuk atakohej Reforma në Drejtësi dhe institucionet e dala prej saj (SPAK dhe GJKKO). Se të jetë produkt i Sorosit, as nuk bëhej fjalë.

The effects that the IDU Forum produced
