How Rama ambushed Dumani Berisha and SPAK as the real opposition!

The reaction of the deputies to the report presented to the Parliament by the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, showed that SPAK and its head are increasingly transforming into the real opposition of the political power in Albania, whether in the government or in the opposition. The ease with which the Socialists ambushed Duman from the Democrats, and the latter's eagerness to publicly lynch him, showed that both sides now see Duman and the institution he leads as the real threat they face.
The blows that SPAK has given to the socialist government, both in the government and in the Municipality of Tirana, are much more serious than the denunciations or solitary protests of the Berishists. It is enough to compare the political shock caused to SPAK, Erjon Veliaj with the arrests of municipal directors with the miserable protests of Berishism that not only did not harm Veliaj's image, but gave him political breath as a citizen mayor in the face of arson vandals. The strike by SPAK illuminated the deep corruption in the municipality, dimming the brightness of Veliaj's political star. Meanwhile, the Parojist protest in front of the town hall simply gave the political star of Veliaj the opportunity to shine again in the darkness created by the Parojist smoke.
Just as the arrest of close associates of the prime minister, such as Arben Ahmetaj, has blackened the Rama government much more than all the denunciations of Berishists taken together. This is due to the simple fact that the credibility of Berishism in denouncing corruption is non-existent, outside the ranks of Berishists. While the credibility of SPAK is very high, especially in a country like Albania, where mistrust and pessimism are at dizzying levels.
Of course, the attacks of the Berishists in the assembly against Duman and SPAK are not explained simply because the latter, unwittingly, are usurping the function of the political and social opposition that the Berishists cannot perform. Most of the Berishist whistleblowers were shouting that Berisha was listening. Meanwhile, Berisha shouts at Duman and SPAK in order to scare the court.
And yet the hatred towards Duman and SPAK cannot be understood simply by the accusation they have brought against Berisha. After all, Dumani is a prosecutor, he does not decide whether Berisha is arrested or not, but simply formulates the accusation. It is the court that decides whether Berisha is arrested, imprisoned or released. Therefore, logically, Berisha's attacks should be focused more on the court and not on SPAK, which has already formulated the accusation.
Të kuptohemi, nuk po e akuzoj Berishën se nuk ka demonizuar mjaftueshëm gjykatat. Në fakt është vështirë të gjesh ndonjë person në Shqipëri që i ka dalë përpara Berishës, qoftë edhe rastësisht, dhe nuk është demonizuar prej tij. Një pjesë e mirë e atyre që mbështesin Berishën sot, janë linçuar publikisht prej tij dje. Ndaj nuk diskutohet që Berisha dhe berishistët kanë denoncuar, sulmuar dhe anatemuar jo vetëm Dumanin por edhe gjykatësen, Irena Gjoka që ka shqyrtuar çështjen e tij. Ama demonizimi ndaj Dumanit është shumë më i madh dhe krejtësisht në shproporcion me peshën juridike që ka prokuroria në marrjen e një vendimi ligjor të formës së prerë.
E thënë ndryshe sulmi ndaj Dumanit ka një llogjikë thellësisht politike, përtej arrestimit të Berishës. Dumani si person, dhe SPAK si institucion, përbëjnë një rrezik ekzistencial për Berishën sepse në mënyrë jo të vullnetëshme po uzurpojnë funksionin opozitar që Berisha dhe Meta nuk e kryejnë dot, sidomos përsa i përket luftës anti-korrupsion. Dhe Berisha me intuitën e tij të mprehtë politike e kupton rrezikun që Dumani përfaqëson jo thjesht si prokuror, por si një figurë publike popullore, jashtë kontrollit berishist.
Popullariteti i SPAK dhe i Altin Dumanit, shpresa anti-korrupsion që ata kanë krijuar në një popullatë të zhgënjyer nga klasa politike, do të thotë që Dumani mund të transformohet në një Antonio Di Pietro shqiptar. Duhet të kujtojmë që fushata Mani Pulite e Antonio di Pietros në Itali në fillim të viteve 1990 rrëzoi të gjithë klasën e vjetër politike Italiane. Dhe përsa i përket vjetërsisë berishizmi mban rekordin në Shqipëri, ndërsa pushteti socialist po vjetërohet me shpejtësi.
Natyrisht që është e vështirë që diçka identike të përsëritet në Shqipëri pasi binomi PS-PD kontrollon pothuajse të gjitha hapësirat mediatike, ekonomike dhe publike në vend. Ama duhet të pranojmë se SPAK dhe Dumani janë figurat dhe institucionet publike më të vlerësuara nga qytetarët shqiptar. Dumani është, sot për sot, prokurori anti-korrupsion më i suksesshëm që ka pasur Shqipëria në të gjithë ekzistencën e saj si shtet.
Pikërisht për këtë arësye ai është i rrezikshëm si për pushtetin socialist edhe për opozitën berishiste, pasi nuk kontrollohet nga asnjëra prej tyre. Edhe pse e kanë akuzuar si zar të Ramës e vërteta është se Dumani u zgjodh në krye të SPAK kundër dëshirës së Ramës dhe si pasojë e presionit ndërkombëtar. Askush nuk e ka njollosur pushtetin socialist më shumë se SPAK dhe Dumani. Ndaj askush nuk i rrezikon socialistët dhe opozitën berishiste më shumë se ai.
This is the reason why Berisha's main enemy today is Dumani. The calls of the DP militants to the citizens to choose whether they are with Berisha or Dumani are not deviations but real manifestations of their political subconscious. They understand that SPAK and Dumani are eclipsing Berisha, not simply by accusing him but above all by carrying out a much more effective opposition to the socialist government than Berishism itself or Ilir Meta.
Duman's opposition dimension is shown in the basic accusations that the Berishists make against him and SPAK that they are not arresting Rama and Veliaj. According to the Berishist logic, SPAK should first arrest Rama. Then, when he is replaced by Veliaj, they must also arrest Veliaj, and when Veliaj is replaced by Balluku, they will demand the arrest of the latter. So SPAK should lead the SP to the opposition by putting all its leadership in prison. In other words, the Berishists project on SPAK their impotence to bring the SP into the opposition.
In their political subconscious, the Berishists understand that SPAK in general and Dumani in particular constitute an existential danger for Berishism, which is already impotent in the anti-corruption fight. Berisha has understood this simple fact for a long time, so Dumani has transformed into his main political enemy, as the only actor and public institution that can remove Berishism from its most valuable political asset; the monopoly of oppositionism. Therefore, with the same force that attacked Bashënm, as soon as it came out of Berisha's control, today Berishism attacks Duman and SPAK because they are developing the most successful opposition to the socialist government, outside of Berisha's control./ Lapsi.al
