The Deputy Mayor of Tirana, Keti Luarasi, in "Opinion" on News24, talking about soft loans, said that this is very good news for the citizens.
Luarasi said that the innovation this year is that the maximum value of the loan has increased, while he also explained the conditions that an applicant must meet. The value of the soft loan that can be applied is 5.5 million new lek, while applicants must fill out the first form and then they must complete the documentation to continue with the other stages of the process.
The Deputy Mayor said that in the case of young couples, we have an age criterion, which should not be over 40 years old.
Next, she explained that single parents with children, mothers who are heads of families can apply for a soft loan, and there is no age criterion here.
Meanwhile, another category that can apply are families who may have a home, but it does not fill the spaces. In this context, the deputy mayor brought as an example a family with 5 members living in a studio apartment.
What is the interest rate for soft loans?
The deputy mayor of Tirana said that the interest rate for those who will benefit will be 3% throughout the loan period. "They are loans with a fixed interest rate. If there will be a change in the interest rate above the agreed 3%, the difference will be paid by the state", said Luarasi.
